Asking My Heart to Connect with My Head

"Just want to let you both know about my progress regarding headaches. I've been asking my heart to connect to my head whenever I feel a tension headache coming on. And sometimes I ask the Sage to ask my heart to connect to my head. I want to report that the effect is almost immediate. I was a lifelong headache sufferer, seemingly a victim of life in this body. Now I can take responsibility and this makes me feel grown up! Oh, also like a child that still has much to learn. Looking forward..."

We, Hanna and Carol, asked Nancy whether she was aware of any particular pattern regarding the occurrence of the headaches. Here is her reply:

"My headaches are probably caused by a number of things. One is my tendency to work long past the time my 65-year-old body wants to put out. I also have long days due to long commutes. I still work a very physical job, which I see as a good thing. I'm getting around that by not working so many days a week as I used to. I absolutely love my work. But straining at lifting will cause a headache sometimes, but not always.

"Last year I was working for someone who didn't want to pay me because she wanted something for nothing. I had a lot of headaches then, almost daily. I was able to get out of working for her by confronting her. She agreed she was greedy! It was right after that job that you introduced me to the concept of asking for help from my heart.

"It's such a tender connection. When I know that I have overdone it, I first say I'm sorry.

"It's interesting that I have some other health issues, but I have not asked for help from my heart yet.

"I have to reiterate that the help with my headache is almost immediate."
